The event was held in one of the most iconic spaces of EXPO OSAKA 2025 — the Women’s Pavilion, an architectural gem designed by renowned Japanese architect Yuko Nagayama and commissioned by Cartier. Conceived as a place of inspiration, the Pavilion celebrates female empowerment, global dialogue, and visionary thinking.

The International Bar Association invited EB as a keynote speaker at its 69th Global Entrepreneurship Conference, held at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, one of Italy’s most iconic venues.

Speaking during the highly anticipated Women’s Breakfast session, Eleonora introduced the concept of a Leadership Checkup — a provocative and timely call to assess and realign leadership in times of accelerating global change. With her signature blend of clarity, systemic thinking, and human insight, she presented a Leadership MOT (inspired by the UK’s Ministry of Transport test) — a reflective self-assessment tool designed to help leaders future-proof their impact with courage and self-awareness.

At the United Nations in New York, Eleonora Bonacossa was interviewed during the 69th Commission on the Status of Women, marking 30 years since the Beijing Declaration.

The interview was conducted by Soroptimist International (one of the world’s leading organizations for professional women) to discuss the impact of the Beijing Conference three decades later.

The Beijing Declaration was one of the greatest milestones in human history—a bold and visionary plan to achieve equal human rights for all women and girls.

Beyond the specific goals that have been reached, its greatest achievement has been raising global awareness about gender equality.
